Congratulations Emad, you are one of the winners of the Europe Film Festival U.K. What do you feel?

It’s not the prestige that matters but how it makes me feel. Awards make me feel good. They are an acknowledgment of a job well done and justification for the agony, the self-doubt, and the hard work that went into winning them. The prestigious “Europe Film Festival U.K.” Award made me feel proud, happy, overwhelmed and delighted.

What first got you into music?

I’m sure that many people before getting into music just liked what they heard, whether it’s something someone else is playing or just in the background but weren’t really into music. I think I was 12 when I really started to get into music, I’m quite sure that happened by the Greatest guitarists Andres Segovia & Narciso Yepes. The first thing that really impacted me was “Classical – Spanish” music, that’s when I realized it was what I wanted to do with my life.

I loved the music and culture of the 80s until I got to where I am today. Now, my main influence and inspiration are to make new guitar arrangements and performing the music of that time in my own style.

What is one message you would give to your fans?

I’d like to say to all my fans out there, thanks for the support. And to all my doubters, thank you very much because you guys have also pushed me. It’s been quite a roller coaster ride, but I’ve grown and learned a lot about myself. The greatest thing is being able to interact with fans and touch people’s lives. I just want to give a big shout-out to all the fans out there who have followed my work up until now. I feel extremely honored and humbled that people are showing me so much love. My fans have stood by me through thick and thin, and I think this love is what makes my concerts house-full.❤

How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?

We’ve never been freer to create, distribute, market, and sell our music, and we can even do it all from the comfort of our own homes. But when you think about the typical digital rollout for musicians these days, it shouldn’t come as any surprise that some might struggle with the technical aspect of a music career.

What is your favorite music to perform?

My favorite music has to be the one I got the WINNER stage by the absolute perfect, unique and wonderful “Europe Film Festival” best soundtrack “Romance Of Love”. The reason why this music is my favorite is because no matter what situation I am in, bad or good the song still brings me a huge abundance of happiness. I have many musics I love and cherish, but “Romance Of Love” is the music I absolutely adore. It warms my heart and mind, it gives me a feeling of alleviation and hope, it just drives me into the wonderful, colorful place where I am free from any darkness or hardship I am facing. Performing lively “Romance Of Love” on stage surrounded by lights, people and being literally in the circle of tranquillity bringing me the happiest tears and emotions, would be amazing. Nothing can top that masterpiece in my opinion.

Are you working on a new project at the moment or are you planning to? Is there anybody you’d like to thank?

I never finish working on, an unbelievable amount of new guitar arrangements and music videos gets uploaded to streaming platforms each day, and much of the time, what determines whether new music will connect with an audience or not depends on how they’re marketed, so never stop moving on.

I’d love to thank very much my God father in music Maestro “Maurizio Caruso” for always being there, I’ll never forget you. You are, hands down, the best teacher I’ve ever had. You inspired me to begin this new chapter in my life. I couldn’t have done it without you.

Is it harder to get started or to keep going? What was the particular thing that you had to conquer to do either ?

I think it would depend on the individual, for me personally I find it difficult to start things that I’m not interested in, but then if I become interested I find it very easy to keep going.

On the other hand, I find it very easy to start something that I’m interested in, and can’t loose interest even if I don’t get fast results, or if it looks like nothing is going to come of whatever it is I’m doing (cause I see myself as a fighter hardworking), then if I do loose interest I’ll find it difficult to keep going, but I won’t want to stop because I know if I do I’ll find it difficult to get started again. That’s why I’m different as a self-independent professional musician.
